Retec F3 Technologies Inc. (RF3) was founded in early 1995 with the mission of developing new products and technologies for the paper and packaging industries. From its headquarter located in Granby, Quebec, Canada, RF3 has developed, patented and commercially produced a high-tech, high-barrier coating that is fully repulpable.

This new technology platform, called “REFIB©”, comprise a range of polymers that are poised to replace existing coating technologies because of their superior performance characteristics. The Company is also continuing development of upcoming products, which have potential to revolutionize certain market segments.

The Company’s technology provides for a water-based coating that is resistant to water vapor, oxygen, carbon dioxide, oil and grease. The product is cost competitive with PE and wax-based barrier coatings when applied, but unlike these, it is 100% recyclable..
